What we do

At Oasis Church we have many families connected to us and on Sundays we have a thriving childrens work that covers all ages from 0-11 years. All children remain in the main meeting for the first part of the service and then move on to their age related group times for the remainder of the time. We have a creche that caters for ages 0-3+, a large group of 3-7’s who have a separate programme, some of which is broken down into 2 age group settings, and a group of 8-11’s who have their own tailor made programme.

Our programmes include games, worship, teaching activities and ministry times. We are a church who prioritises and emphasises the importance of hosting God’s presence, listening to His voice and growing in Intimacy with Him and we seek to reflect these values in our children’s work. We aim to not just present bible stories but to underpin them with daily reality and challenge the children on their relationship with the Lord and how they can allow the teaching they receive to affect their lives. We give time for children to respond to what they have heard in an age appropriate way and to gain deeper revelation of Him as they hear Him speak to them.

During school holidays we often have a fun day out or a party where the children enjoy friendship and relationship with one another as we value the of building healthy relationships and being part of the Body of Christ.
