Who are we?
Our mandate is to train, equip and release men, women and young adults who
embrace the core values of this House: experiencing the Father’s love, intimate
friendship with Jesus, restoration of the heart and impartation of the life of the
Kingdom through the power of the Holy Spirit. From this place, they are sent into the
marketplaces of society and ministry with the heart of the Father to love, serve,
model and empower others to know Christ, experience His love and follow Him.
OLS PRINCIPAL
Florence Joseph currently serves as OLS Principal.
She trained at Middlesex, Spurgeon’s and Redcliffe College, and
played a key role in the establishment of SOMAT (School of
Ministry and Theology) in Uganda, East Africa to provide training
and equipping for national pastors.
Course administrator
Anne-L Grisey currently serves as OLS Course Administrator.
Anne worked as an Admissions Officer in the International Office of
Glyndwr University, North Wales, for several years. She brings a wealth
of knowledge and experience of academic institutions to her role.
Tutors
Our tutors are anointed men and women who have faithfully served Oasis Church, its various campuses, and the wider body of Christ in the UK and overseas. They bring with them decades of solid ministry experience, deep love for God’s people and lives that authenticate the message they teach.
A Bit OF History
Oasis Leadership School first launched in 2014 with 50
eager students and one course. Since then, our courses have expanded together with
our gifted teaching team, which now numbers 28 tutors, many of them known and loved
members of the church family. As OLS becomes embedded in the life and culture of
Oasis Church, peoples’ lives are being changed. Our emphasis on healing of the heart
and character transformation over and above the acquisition of skills means that course
participants are exposed to important life and ministry tools. Understanding who they are
in Christ, what God has called them to be, do and become, and discovering where their
main strengths and gifts lie, has become a journey of discovery for many.
I learned it’s okay to be a generalist! We are all unique in our calling and giftings … I enjoyed the project planning a lot and will be using this approach to plan something I have had in mind for a long time.’
